We loved it! Friendly and courteous service. A great menu that doesn't just contain potatoes. The corn chicken, veggies and mashed sweet potatoes were 1st class. The vegetables and mash were so tasty that I would have been more than satisfied without the corn chicken. Thank you and see you next time

It was our first time here and we really enjoyed it. The restaurant is rustic and comfortably furnished. The staff was always friendly and helpful. As the name of the restaurant suggests, the menu includes potato dishes in all possible variations. The waiting time for food was quite short. The dishes were nicely arranged and tasted really good. We are happy to recommend this restaurant.

So the food was really very good, as always. What we have recently seen but also experienced ourselves is an unfriendly waitress. We're not talking about all of them, really just one. It goes very against the customers before you even walked in the door. A simply polite question will be asked and you will immediately answer unkindly. We have been there a few times now, and first thought of a bad day for the waitress, unfortunately this is not the case. When asked about it, you shrug. That way you can't win new customers and certainly not keep regular guests. We don't stop by anymore. There are just too many restaurants for that. There is no tip for such behavior.

We expected more. Contrary to the name of the restaurant and without further notice in the menu, Schlemmerpfanne is completely without potatoes (but with spaetzle). In general, the food was rather bland and the pans could have used a lot more frying. It's a shame because the location is great and the portions are too big rather than too small.

Great food, very tasty and a lot. Great staff. Without complaint, they made the food adequate for my son (he is diabetic). And the ambience is also very rustic and cozy.

The service is very nice, if you are lucky, the portions are extremely large and of very good quality. Somehow, on all visits, the dishes were somehow lacking in flavor. Otherwise you can eat well there.

This restaurant is just great! It is very lovingly decorated in an antique style. The staff is polite and helpful. The best thing is food. There is a large selection of potato dishes that are really delicious. The middle price category is therefore justified.

You have to be in the mood for a thick basic German food do not go in there with the idea of eating a light salad and having something fluffy deftigesas they say in German there has been no mention of a keto diet the side of the Atlantic at least not here lol

Cozy with many interesting pieces of furniture from old times. Often full, making a prior reservation useful. The service was good, unfortunately you had to wait relatively long between starter and main course. The drinks menu can be found on a larger bottle, which is placed on the table, the food on the prepared place pad. Both the drinks and the food is varied and about what you would expect from a good potato house. Various types of potato soup, potato salad, baked potatoes and hearty dishes from the pan. Especially recommended are the soups. The fried potatoes could not convince us, but overall a good main course as a very generous portion. The prices are not cheap, but adequate. All in all, recommended.

When you visit Wittenberg you should definitely have one of your dinners here! Restaurant is always (even in the winter) full, therefore you should make a reservation before you go. You can try 40, 64 as a main course and 74 as a dessert. You would like it. Good humoured staff who are able to speak English and a very nice ambiance.

Very wide selection of potato dishes for small money. I had a backed potato with quark for around 4 EUR, my friends tried fried potato pan with eggs on top. The portions were huge. The problem was the service - there were not enough waitrers around lunch time on Saturday and we had to wait long for ordering and getting the drinks. There should be more staff in such a big restaurant. They also mixed up our order a bit, but managed it with a smile and corrected everything on the bill.
